I might not know much about politics, but I do take a certain pride in my country, and I thank God for giving us so much freedom.
World opinion might occasionally cause our nation to hesitate against a course of action that we might feel is prudent, but it will not stop us from marching to the beat of our own drum; and at the end of the day, we sing our own tune.
Whether or not our leaders always make the right decisions is not the issue. The issue is that we still are a sovereign nation and we should not take that for granted.
The flag in this photo was I believe given away last Christmas at our Yankee Swap. It was built from pallet boards, (hardwoods). We have sold several others of various sizes and appearances at craft shows, and we still have one that is very similar to the one in the picture. I am currently at work on a couple of different ideas for flags. The current ones actually have the stripes going with the grain. Hey, there is a time for that too!
God Bless America.
